Went down to the 'Burg tonight to "watch" Becky's women's league volleyball team practice. Well, it went quickly from "watching" to playing as nobody showed up to practice against them except for my dad...
So, we played 2 on 5. What a workout that was! Dad and I handled them for the first two games, then went on a three game losing streak as the women worked the court on us, and totally took advantage of us having 2 people. I was running all over the place, and Dad was working equally as hard just trying to run down my bad passes caused by half exhaustion, half great serving from Becky's team. We did manage to take game 6...but only barely!
I am hopeful they will have a great season this year. They look strong.
